Gentlemen:
The board and I really appreciate all of the input on this item and your desire to return to a three start system. I should point out that we also had input from mid range boats liked the new two start system and the opportunity to start at as smaller boats in the last start. The two start system for 2011 was voted established at the January board meeting and endorsed again at the February meeting. The Transpacific Yacht Club Board met this evening and has voted to not to change from the previously announced two start system. This is a final decision. The discussion is wide open for the 2013 race and we will do a race recap at the finish after this race. Thank you again for your input.
