(e/m sent to my neighbors),

Tina will be here early every morning and then again around 5pm to make sure the cat continues to receive the lifestyle she is accustomed to.  She will take in the mail since she'll be here.

thanks.

Dad,

I am flying out this morning and just wanted to remind you that yes I do want the docs tracking the weather for this delivery.

Gib will be sending out an em to Bill Lee and the other SC50 owners as a hello and an intro to the book idea.

Just a heads-up:  it looks like the Pacific High is stationary around 27-30 degrees.  That means we will attempt to go over it.

We will leave HI and sail NE to climb up to the mid-30 degree latitudes slowly making an easterly heading.  As soon as we 'feel' the wind angle change and can carry it we will turn east and approach CA north of Long Beach and drop down with the wind and waves.

These sites will give you a glimpse of what the boat is experiencing.  Our planned route at this time based on the position of the Pacific High is to leave HI on a NNE heading and upon reaching the mid 30s we will turn east and approach CA north of Long Beach.

John,
Are you living in So Cal now?

nah...  just wishing.  I'm training a few new Grande Maumelle Sailing club members how to make a few boats fly!  This Beneteau First Class 8M is a blast to sail.  I drove, main and tatics while the others worked the head sails and ended up getting 2 bullets and one 2nd out of 7 boats this last Sunday.  2 of my competitors are National Champs!!  They were pissed.  New crew, new boat, broken halyard going to windward, a few foredeck issues but we still took them to the wood shed!

Have you been crewing much?  Any good beer lately??

John

I'm on Oahu prepping an sc50 that leaves tomorrow for Long beach.
