Still somewhere west of Morocco
One of the best parts of having the 3am to 6am watch is seeing sunrise.
Calm seas and 10-15 knots out of the northeast. Light rain on the horizon on two sides of us. This guy passed us really close. It gave us something to look at for a while.
I went forward and told Alan to look down and he would see a dolphin. He was working on the red nav light and I was looking for sea life. This was the first dolphin any of us had seen on this trip. Later in the day in the distance I spotted whales but they moved away from us. Also, during this afternoon the swells were about 300 feet apart and 12-15 feet high and it was incredible. I got some video of it but there is nothing like seeing it in the wild. Giant swells moving gracefully up and down and the boat ghosting along.
