Part 2, 9:10pm
Puerto de Fornells, Menorca, Islas Baleares, Spain 40° 03.9 N 04° 08.2 E
We took the dinghy into town around 2pm. The sidewalks were rolled up and the tourists were gone. We did manage to find one restaurant that was open and the street-side tables were inviting. We sampled the local beer.
I ordered a bacon cheeseburger from the menu of hamburgers. It listed salad as an option. Well, they sent me an actual ham-burger with tomato and lettuce as the salad. An actual ham-burger! Go figure.
I was quick with the camera and saw one of the local natives in his habitat. |
The walk through town was very picturesque and fairly deserted of people and cars. I acquired many pictures and cannot do justice here.
The Internet café is upstairs in that building ahead. |
Our luck has been that Internet café’s are always closed. That’s why e-mails have been few and far between.
