We worked on things to get ready for a departure and that took most of the day. While taking on about 200 gallons of diesel it started to rain. Right at the fuel dock/marina office is a little restaurant and we were tempted for one last tapas and beer. Since we were Euro poor we decided to have a sandwich onboard instead. But then, John saved the day! He said that if we turn in the bathroom key we’d get 5 Euros back. Mmm, ice cream….
While I was sitting in the cockpit for the hour or so that it took to take on fuel I noticed the dive boat was dragging several floats that are used to raise sunken objects. I watched them maneuver into the travelift and eventually lift the small wooden boat that sunk in front of the dive shop.
